The EBW Awards returned in 2026 after a hugely positive response from the industry, bringing back this celebrated gala evening as part of European Bridal Week in Essen, Germany.

Originally launched to honour excellence across the bridal and fashion trade, the Awards have quickly become a highlight of the industry calendar, recognising creativity, innovation, and passion that define the global bridal sector.

Held on Sunday 29 March 2026 at the prestigious Grand Hall of Zeche Zollverein in Essen – an iconic venue within a UNESCO World Heritage Site – the EBW Awards gathered around 500 guests from across the world for a glamorous night of celebration and recognition.

What sets the EBW Awards apart is its industry-led voting process: every exhibitor at European Bridal Week is automatically nominated, and registered bridal stores and stockists vote for their favourite brands in key categories such as Best Marketing Campaign Supplier, Best Customer Service Supplier, Best Accessories Supplier, Best Menswear Supplier, Best Eveningwear/Prom Supplier, Best Commercial Designer and Best Bridal Supplier. This approach ensures the winners truly reflect the voice of the trade.

The evening combines red-carpet glamour with heartfelt recognition, featuring a curated dinner, entertainment, live music, and opportunities for networking and celebration.
